Executive management change at BauschLinnemann

On 1 May 2007, Dieter Baumanns (Dipl.-Kfm.) was appointed as Managing Director of BauschLinnemann GmbH.

As a colleague of Dr.-Ing. Gereon Schäfer, Chairman of the Executive Management and head of the portfolio “Production/Engineering”, Dieter Baumanns will be responsible for the division “Sales and Marketing”. He bears overall responsibility for global sales activities, strategic developments and marketing coordination.
Mr. Baumanns succeeds Martin Janssen who leaves the company following successful completion of sales restructuring and the ZEUS project which commenced in 2003, in order to take on new challenges.

After taking a degree in business administration at RWTH Aachen, D. Baumanns started as a field salesman before going on to become a sales manager, managing director of sales and finally Chairman of the Executive Management of Döllken & Praktikus GmbH, subsidiary of SURTECO AG based in Gladbeck.
